The “official” bio

Amanda Richards is a therapeutic counsellor devoted to helping people widen the context and space that they live in, so they can break the cycle or patterns that hold them back, and find more peace, joy, and love in their lives.

Through her years of experience in movement and her work in transpersonal therapy, AEDP, Somatic Experiencing and Spacial Dynamics, Amanda has seen firsthand the power of choosing who you’re going to be in the face of trauma . Amanda is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and RTC.

She collaborates with clients who want to take a different approach to therapy — looking at movement patterns and the nervous system in their day-to-day survival patterns and supporting them to make sense of what is & isn’t working. Because once they understand what needs attention, they are able to find choice in how they move through their lives.

What I really do

I support you to widen your perspective so you can see yourself in a whole new light. Help you uncover the stories that your autonomic nervous system has been telling you through feeliings, sensations and behaviours and how that affects your patterns and reactions.
